Started from the bottom now we here…

Well not the bottom but a rusty ole trailer.

We are coming up on our 1 year anniversary of being in bizz and WOAH what a year it has been! We had many many learning curves and hit a few road blocks but we’ve met some amazing people along the way. Our initial hope was just to get 1 booking for our first year and we ended up with 10! (toot toot) -my own horn.

In honor of our one year, we thought it would be a great idea to share some photos of how our trailer started to what she is today.

We bought the rusty girl back in 2021. Initially, I looked at the trailer (mind you I was 7 months pregnant with our second child) and thought “oh man, this thing is going to sit here for awhile”. BUT Luke being the dedicated craftsman he is, got to work as soon as the weather got better. Luke hand sanded the entire trailer, cut off the side window to make what is now the bar window, took out the floors and original half doors, rewired the lights, tiled, painted…you name it, he did it! Tyde myself and (newborn Tashy strapped to me, of course) helped when we could. After about 3 months of working everyday to get this girl up to speed, we had finally finished!

We are extremely proud of our trailer because we have done everything on our own. We are always looking for ways to improve and since have added a few items to make the trailer more functional. Everything you see on our trailer runs without a generator and is powered by solar or a small battery. This allows The Trough to roll practically anywhere.

We are estactic to keep this trailer rolling and help people make their special occasion that much more rememberable and unique. Full steam ahead to season 2023.
