The Journey
The Trough is officially approaching it’s 4th year in business this 2025 season and they’ve got some MASSIVE news for y’all….a new badass owner. Just to catch you up, if you haven’t been following the trailers journey (uhumm do it now @thetroughreno) Karlee and Luke decided to sell The Trough after the 2024 season to endeavor on their next big idea. BUT they didn’t just let anyone buy it. They wanted to make sure whoever bought it could “level up” - Beyonce .

Without further ado, Annika Nichols. Annie has been a bartender for over 10 years throughout the Reno area and has ample experience in hospitality and event bartending. If she isn’t mixing drinks, she is tending to her animals ( a cow named Kevin and a handful of baby goats to name a few). She’s the real deal cowgirl.
